Secure Desktop Project Sept 2010 – Nov 2010 Traveled to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to help develop\test procedures and documentation for global deployment of Bit-locker Hard drive encryption, Secure Email (PKI) and Secure IM to 'most confidential' users. Managed deployment in the Americas.
Deep Dive Vista Support for Americas Jan 2010 - Sept 2010. Third level support of Vista machines, researched issues, deployment problems often dealing with MS Engineers.
Build\Rack\Support Servers at HOU IC site April 2009 – Dec 2009 Managed project of 12 people to inventory the Servers, Routers, Switches and Network at the HOU IC. Updated Compucom's Desktop Support Documentation for Shell contract. Various other projects to improve processes at Shell.

Hurricane Evac Support 2006-2008 Evaluated, planned and setup all the IT infrastructure for BP Texas City's Hurricane Crisis Management Team in San Antonio. Including, but not limited to, WLAN, LAN, WAN, Audio Conferencing, break\fix of Laptops, Printers. Supported the BP Texas City Crisis Management team in San Antonio during Hurricane Ike event.
GDS (Global Desktop Services) Client Team Jan 2004 – Dec 2006 Support current standardized desktop platform from global perspective. Develop, test and support upgrades, ERs (emergency releases) etc. Write procedures and processes for deployments and projects. Resolve issues local SDO escalates to the Global team, includes working with MS to resolve errors. Support and test any applications that are or will later be supported by GDS Team.
GDS Client Firewall Team Jan 2004 – Dec 2006 Develop tools used for testing and supporting the WIN2K and WINXP Client Firewall. Evaluate requests for security concerns. Mitigate risks by finding alternate solutions. Format and test exceptions to be added to the Test and Live GPO. Write technical documentation for this service line. Run the weekly Client Firewall meeting. Manage firewall exception requests from initial request to security approval to testing via test GPO to implementation in live GPO.
Area Desktop SLC (Service Line Coordinator) for Southern US, Central and South America Jan 2003 – Dec 2006 Responsible for ~12k PCs. Test and support all OS upgrades and ERs. Manage rollout of OS upgrades and other software packages. Resolve problems escalated to me by desktop support techs. Escalate to Global Desktop Service Client team as needed. Write procedures and processes.
iRAS 2 Project 2002 – 2003 Primary tester and technical support during development and deployment of iRAS 2 (customized VPN solution). Write project technical support documents. Investigated and resolved any issues found during testing and deployment.
Technical Support for COE 3 Project, Amoco and Vastar Integration in Houston area 2001-2002 Tested COE 3 (Windows 2000) from first beta thru SR1. Investigate errors in both the CORE COE and various scripted COE 3 software packages, fixing or reporting errors to package owners. Develop procedures (imaging, staging, rollout etc) used for the COE 3 rollout. Technical support lead for rollout and migration. Manage team configuring and testing RAS during weekend rollouts.

Included setting up power, LAN, WLAN, printing, Video Conferencing and anything else needed at local Houston sites as well as conference resorts around the US.
