Director – Desktop Engineering, Corporate Information Technology (2010 – 2016). Led a team of desktop engineers, project managers and a PC Depot team delivering desktop solutions, electronic software distribution and end point management for a Fortune 15 company. Team accomplishments include:
Developing and implementing companywide upgrade solutions for Office 2007, Windows 7 and IE11.
Created a companywide electronic software distribution, patch management using Radia/HP CAE
Provided engineering solutions for two companywide changes in hardware vendor.
Senior Director – Shared Services Management, Corporate Information Technology (2008 – 2010)
Lead a team of seasoned IT professionals focused on strategic planning, business analysis, IT governance, vendor management and the development/running of a Service Catalog. Team created and deployed a product lifecycle process that was core to the CIT Transformation. Partnering with other McKesson organizations the team helped to create a Strategic Vendor Management program.
Director – Product Management, Corporate Information Technology (2006 – 2008)
Program managed the development and rollout of an ITIL compliant Service Catalog which presented IT services in business terms showing business value. Played a pivotal role in the creation of the Corporate IT Product Management team and the use of unit cost and cost drivers for services “sold” by CIT to business unit customers. Represented McKesson speaking about this work at key professional conferences.

IT Senior Manager - Strategic Technology & Planning, Managed Services (2003 – 2005)
Managed a team of senior project managers and software developers focused on strategic engineering and emerging technologies in support of HP’s Adaptive Enterprise Solutions. This team created an automated server provisioning solution and established a program for use of what was then cutting edge virtual machine technology. Work of this team resulted in patent applications adding to HP’s intellectual property.
IT Department Manager – Infrastructure Strategic Engineering, Corporate IT (2000 – 2003)
Managed a team of research engineers and project managers whose focus was inventing the future information technology infrastructure for HP through the introduction of new inventions as well as through disruptive business ideas and technologies. Collaborated with partners from universities, HP Labs, HP divisions, vendors and other researchers. Team outputs were patent applications, internal white papers, published papers, proof of concept demonstrations, conference presentations, presentations to top HP management and similar activities designed to showcase the research of the team.
Alliance Manager – Consumer Portfolio Team, E:BIS – Corporate IT (1999 – 2000).
Managed vendor relationships and software contracts owned by the Corporate Information Technology, Consumer Portfolio Team (CPT). Selected vendors, negotiated contracts and provided consulting to leaders of key company initiatives. Managed all CPT vendor contracts (over $25 million annually). Selected new products useful to HP Consumer (client) Portfolio and developed vendor relationships.
IT Team Manager, Financial Service Center, Atlanta Business Center, Atlanta, GA (1996 – 1999). Managed a team of IT professionals involved in the technical support of Financial, Personnel and Payroll applications used by the HP Americas Field Operations. Managed the application split project for the spin-off of Agilent Technologies. Managed a project to update/test over 100 applications for an error free Y2K
Test Lab Manager / IT Project Manager, Technology Solutions Lab, Atlanta, GA (1991 – 1996).
Managed projects to identify, test and implement IT products for use by the HP Americas field operations. Negotiated purchase agreements and contracts with vendors saving HP over $5 million. Created and managed a test lab facility used by 16 HP engineers.

Created and managed the Centralized Call Management (CCM) test suite. Developed the CCM consolidation strategy and managed the project to centralize call management from 25 sites to one.
