Presently working with Birla Century at Bharuch (A div. of Century Textiles & Industries Ltd.)

as a Officer in Quality Assurance Dept. since Aug.2010to till date.

Job Profile:

1. Testing like tear, tensile, Gsm, Shrinkage, EPI-PPI, ph, width, color fastness to rubbing, washing,

Water, dry-cleaning and perspiration of all types of shirtingt-shuiting&bedlinen fabrics of100%

Cotton, CVC, Linen, cotton/lycra blend fabrics. (AATCC, ASTM, ISO)

2. Approval of grey fabric testing& mercerized fabric, and finished fabric testing, Shade Approval

as per the customer standards.

3. Supervision of shade grouping.

4. Supervision of quality parameters like Whiteness for pure white Fabrics, Finish & Feel of the fabric

as Per customer requirement.

5. Supervision & follow up of fabric to be tested in outside labs like SGS, ITS.

6. Preparing Test reports to be given to customers as per instruction of Marketing department.

4. To look after Third Party Lab testing required for Export as well as Domestic Buyers as & when

Needed in coordination with Marketing Department.

6. Manpower Management for proper functioning of day to day activities of Lab with respect to testing

& other related activities.

7. To keep Entire Team of Staff & Operators with great positive environment by means of Training &

Right communication regarding responsibilities of each & every team member.

8. Reporting to QAGM and other concern department.

9. reporting like Daily QA report, width and shrinkage and Analysis report, Daily quality issue report.

Industrial training:-

04 month industrial training in Alok industry ltd vapi in processing plant.( Final Year in Diploma).

Academic:-

1. Diploma in Textile chemistry from Dr.s &s s Gandhi College of engg & tech. Surat

In the year 2010.

2. GMTA (Graduate Member of Textile Association of India)

Ahmedabad unit.

3. Six Day’s Short tearm course in Nonwoven Textile from BITRA (Mumbai).

Computer skill:-

Windows/DOS, MS – office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), SAP

Gujarati, Hindi, English.
