VSATs are communications satellites that transmit data for internet access, VoIP or video. Build, test, calibrate, repair and deploy telecommunication satellites and subcomponents. Troubleshoot failing systems. Reload Operating System and flash memory upgrades to bring hardware and software into compliance with military specifications. Utilize Windows 7 computers with Microsoft Excel and proprietary tracking programs to organize and monitor project progress. Escalate critical errors to Project Lead. Provide recommendations on the best solution. Train military contractors on satellite deployment procedures, including assembly, support and configuration, including latitude and longitude parameters and network IP addressing.

Analysis of system performance, diagnosis of component or system faults and corrective maintenance of VSAT system and components. Perform installation of new VSAT systems.
