1.Checks and receives articles from outgoing aide
2.Accounts for all linens during her shift and endorses then to the nursing aide of the next shift
3.Attends morning rounds with the ward nurses
4.Bathers bed patients, assists in dressing, stores patient’s clothing and valuables
5.Combs hair, clan and cuts patient’s nails, give shampoo and oral hygiene
6.Gives alcohol rubs, drapes female patient for examination
7.Serves drinking water and nourishment and feeds ill patient, assists with their needs
8.Gives enemas, perennial care, refilling of hot water bag and ice caps
9.Keeps record of intake and output when ordered; take and charts vital signs when delegated
10.Assists patient in walking, transport and turning
11.Provides specimen vial, collects urine and stool specimen and send them to the laboratory

1.Assists in the implementation of various health programs of the Local Government
Unit in accordance with the program goals and objectives of the Department of Health and the Health Sector
a.1. Expanded Program on Immunization- with the emphasis on measles, polio and tetanus immunization. This may include, but not limited to finding, missed children, defaulters, trans-in and assisting in the immunization of all eligible population.
a.2. Family Planning Program
-Follow-up and referral of all couples with unmet Modern Family Planning methods need and those who drop-out.
2.Assists in the conduct of disease surveillance.
-Assist in the detection, investigation and documentation of notifiable diseases.
-Assist in the conduct of outbreak control and response measures during health and other health-related emergencies.
3.Conducts health education and training.
4.Assists in the supervision and monitoring of the Community Health Team.
5.Assists in the conduct of regular monitoring and evaluation of the various health programs for the community.
6.Assists in the preparation and analysis of reports on clinic and community activities.
7.Submits prescribed monthly accomplishment report and DTRs to the RO1 through the PDOHO, Provincial DOH Officer/DOH Representative.
