A.S. Constructions (Client TATA Consulting Engineers LTD) – Site Engineer (STP). Project Owner – Bangalore Water Supply & Sewerage Board).
It’s the sewerage treatment plant work in Bangalore. The cause of the project to treat the waste water and supply to the people . This project is full of water retaining structures. It consist of retaining wall structures, beams, chamber, valve pit, channels, BBS taking, Execution works.
Responsibilities:
Involved in the project from the beginning and had an opportunity to learn & work in different areas like Execution, Quantity survey.
Estimations & quantity measurement of the Construction Utility works.
Take off Exact Quantity from Drawing for material procurement schedule.
Monitoring the technical changes in Drawings and specifications if any addition/omission works notify and get the variation conformation order and raise variation Claims, Maximum works.
Rectify the client request problems.
Preparation of Material Submittals after thorough review in accordance with Project Specifications.
Prepare necessary paperwork in the office. Preparing Weekly labour bills and contractor bills. Preparing RA Bills of the month according to the progress of work done.
Plan and schedule the work of the Construction materials in the site.
Attend regular meetings with Manager, and keeping them informed of progress work.
Supervise and monitor the site labour force through General Technician and or Supervisors, monitoring the work of any subcontractors to complete the work as per customer's satisfaction.
Reviews engineering design drawings, specifications and other technical Documents submissions and recommend improvements.
Oversee quality control and safety matters on the site, and ensuring that regulations are adhered to.
Preparation of Sketches, Sections, Installation details and Coordination Drawings to provide detailed information to client for approval of Materials.
Oversee the selection and requisition of materials for use in the construction, to check whether the materials are as specified.
Supervise and ensure proper maintenance of materials and to advise on technology and modifications required for a simpler and cost saving mechanism.
