Hill Air Force Base, Utah
Aircraft Mechanic (AG):
March 24, 2003 to January 20, 2016
I have inspected all areas of the aircraft including the confined spaces. I am proficient in using the proper technical manuals, drawings, and manufacturers data. I am familiar with all precision instruments, such as micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, etc. for evaluating both major and minor components and parts for defects, serviceability, and proper installation. I require minimum or no supervision to accomplish the tasks. I have provided my supervisors with options and suggestions for solving difficult problems. I provide assistance and training to less experienced workers. I give those same workers positive leadership whenever possible. I am energetic and consistent in exceeding most if not all the time standards for task completion. I am relied upon to tackle any task assigned with a proactive attitude.
As stated above, I complete job tasks faster than established timeframes and more energetically. I am thorough in all tasks I perform. I am called upon to assist and train less experienced workers because of my extensive knowledge of technical orders, prints, and systems. I produce high standards of quality with no discrepancies. I maintain a proactive attitude.
I take on extra responsibilities and I help my supervisor in record keeping and documentation. I exert an extra effort to improve on methods that ensure proper documentation, administrative and inventory task accuracy, etc. In doing so, I achieve accuracy in most cases. I am supportive of all administrative directives.
I do not violate safety procedures. I alert my supervisor to all unsafe conditions, practices, and procedures immediately. I always use personal protective equipment. I always comply with each safety and health directive.
I am technically qualified on all tasks for C-130 aircraft. I am capable of completing all tasks independently with minimum or no supervision. I have never failed to demonstrate adequate proficiency in doing assigned tasks.
I always follow established procedures on tool control. All tools are shadowed, well maintained, and legibly marked with the tool kit number. My AFMC Form 309 daily inventory is always up-to-date and correctly annotated.
I am capable of manufacturing aircraft structures and components independently that are associated with aircraft structural repair. I provide supervision with options and suggestions for conclusions to difficult problems associated with aircraft structural repair. I am called upon to provide assistance or training to less experienced mechanics. I energetically and consistently exceed most if not all time standards for task completion. I can be relied upon to tackle new manufacturing needs associated with aircraft structures with a proactive attitude. I provide positive leadership for less experienced mechanics whenever possible. I always produce quality workmanship with no defects using well thought out procedures to accomplish all assigned tasks.
I am sought after for opinions or help in T.O. guidance for inspection results. I am sought after for help with difficult decisions requiring extensive knowledge of T.O.s, blueprints, job guides and specifications that apply to specific aircraft structures. I energetically complete job tasks usually faster than established time standards. I am always extremely thorough in accomplishing assigned tasks. I voluntarily accept responsibility in solving difficult problems with minimal or no supervision. My opinions are sought by less experienced mechanics because of my vast knowledge of technical orders, prints, repairs, modifications and inspection of aircraft structural components. I am a team member with a positive attitude, who coordinates and works well with others to accomplish tasks. I produce an end product with a high standard of quality with no discrepancies.
I often take on responsibilities and help my supervisor to keep accurate records and documentation as it applies to the aircraft. I exert extra effort to improve on methods or procedures to ensure proper documentation, administrative tasks, inventories, etc. I am consistently accurate and I am supportive of all administrative directives.
I readily accept responsibility for work performed while following established procedures for FOD and tool control. I look for improvements to insure quality and integrity. I accomplished tasks with a high degree of quality with no exceptions. I support quality initiatives giving ideas and suggestions for improvement. I take pride in my work area and do regular house cleaning and area clean-up projects. I readily accept responsibility to ensure quality of fellow workers or trainees when needed or whenever possible. I make sure workers in training follow proper procedures and I support proper use of resources. I keeps a positive attitude and strive for improvement.
I am relied upon for my knowledge in repairing, modifying, and replacing parts. I am also relied upon for my knowledge in resolving difficult structural problems and performing tasks independently that are associated with aircraft structural repair or modification. I have expert knowledge in most or all modifications associated with the aircraft weapon system I am currently working. My knowledge is considered an asset to my supervisor in training subordinates or new employees, and in assisting them in their progression to achieving a journeymen level grade. I am vital to keeping employee PAC records current with minimal to no defects. I express a proactive attitude to all subordinates or new employees when assisting them in solving problems. I use the same proactive attitude to guide them in processes or procedures as it relates to aircraft structures and training requirements. I require little or no supervision in accomplishing duties.
