Managed and led all store operations for this $10 Million in Annual Sales privately-owned retail supermarket business which was recognized by local and national media including ABC, NBC and the Wall Street Journal as a trusted iconic community institution for over 84 years until its closure by Hurricane Sandy.

Operational management of P & L, Labor (Union) Relations, Safety (OSHA) Federal & State regulations, asset protection and loss prevention.

Managed all back-office administrative functions including Accounts Receivable. Worked with local law enforcement and municipal courts in obtaining restitution on delinquent checks and stolen merchandise.

Developed best-practice of monitoring vendor guidelines in order to achieve additional sales incentive program compensation that improved profitability.

Part of a store leadership team that developed and implemented new store sales and inventory control procedures including implementation of a unique state of the art inventory scanning system which reduced overall inventory carrying costs.
