VICE PRESIDENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY:

Innovative Service Technology (IST) provides custom software solutions for outsourcing services (SaaS) in the legal, human resources (HR) and facilities management (FM) markets.

Manage an annual budget of $3+ million and 19 full-time employees.

Capable of presenting technical concepts in simple terms to C level executives.

Services Organization Controls (SOC II Type 2) and Security compliance technical officer.

Conduct project planning and job assignment of software development using 9 internal programming resources coupled with external contracted services in India, Serbia and China to meet aggressive time commitments through the application of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Chief Design Engineer of web applications and network architecture applied to financial analysis, accounting, workforce management, electronic document processing, facilities management services and overall business functions.

Designed the multi-tiered data processing solution that uses Adobe Coldfusion and Microsoft .NET with Barracuda Hardware-Load Balancers, Windows 2012 R2 Enterprise Server, SQL Server 2014 in an Active/Passive clustered configuration, secured behind Dell Sonicwall firewalls (active/active). Reporting engine used is Microsoft SQL Reports.

Successfully designed & deployed IST’s kCura Relativity system in 6 weeks on a $537K budget.

TESA Entry Systems, Norcross, GA 1997-2003

CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER:

TESA Entry System (now called Onity) is a manufacturer and distributor of electronic locking systems in the hotel industry. My duties encompassed the overall business strategy that included the underlying LAN/WAN architecture, the connectivity between 17 international offices, and the software and services that utilize and support the business. These services include enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, e-mail, engineering collaboration, and sales reporting from design, risk assessment and budgeting through planning, resource management and implementation to final completion.

Directed the separation of IT functions during the Williams de-merger that included the implementation of ERP systems in two new manufacturing facilities in Oiartzin, Spain and El Salto, Mexico completed July 2001 and August 2001 respectively.

Designed a worldwide enterprise resource planning (ERP) system based on Navision Attain to encompass Mexico and Spain manufacturing with distribution via Atlanta and 14 international sales offices.

Designed an international network topology utilizing Internet technologies and virtual private networking (VPN) to support worldwide operations in Mexico, Canada, Brazil, England, Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Directed the year 2000 (Y2K) program that included an aggressive compliance plan in the form of documented budgetary needs with an associated timeline with completion by September 1998.

Implemented Fourth Shift at the Atlanta office through defining resource requirements, an aggressive project timeline with specific budgetary allocations and scope definition completed by August 1998 within budget of $250K.

Defined and established the IS infrastructure totaling 12 FTEs for Atlanta, Georgia (6 people), Guadalajara, Mexico (5 people) and Irun, Spain (1 person) including roles and responsibilities.

Establishment of core competencies, strategic alliances, long term goals, annual objectives and detailed project timelines resulted in a three year strategic plan.
