Junior Network Administrator

•Worked with Sysaid to remotely adminster Windows workstations. Tasks completed through Sysaid include software and hardware audits and ticket management.

•Use Royal TS to remotely administer Windows servers (2008 and 2012). Remote tasks include Active Directory object creation and management, Network license management, and Office and Exchange 365 administration.

•Remote and in person support support sessions for users ranging from the CEO to Office Assistants.

•Global implementation of an antivirus solution (F-Secure). I also keep antivirus policies and whitelist up to date.

Tier II Network Analyst

•Worked with Kaseya versions 6.2, 6.3, and 6.5 to remotely administer Windows workstations and servers. Tasks completed through Kaseya include domain admin password resets, Enterprise wide antivirus (Kaspersky and Trend Micro) installation and configuration, patch and Windows update installs, and system audits. As a Tier II agent I also had Kaseya admin responsibilities that included profile password resets, role changes, and profile creation.

•Remotely administered Windows servers (2003 -2012) and workstations (XP - 8.1) through Bomgar, VNC, Screen Connect, and Kaseya sessions.

•Server sessions dealt heavily with Active Directory tasks such as user creation, rights assignments, and GPO creation and configuration. Server side sessions also dealt with Exchange 2007 - 2012 tasks such as user and group mailbox creation, rights assignment, database maintenance, space management, connector creation and configuration, and mail flow troubleshooting.

•Other Server session tasks include DNS and DHCP troubleshooting and configuration, and file server tasks such as creating and updating network shares.

•Workstation troubleshooting issues included authentication problems, Outlook set up and configuration, connectivity issues, system clean ups and virus removal, and various Microsoft Office and other application specific problems.

•As an independent contractor, I accept break fix contracts from partners such as Dell, HP, Walmart, and CompUSA keeping in mind I represent a fortune 500 company as much as I represent myself. These break fix contracts can range from reimaging a workstation to installing a complete Point of Sale (POS) system for a retail location.

•Set service appointments with end users and administrators once the contract is accepted to provide the service agreed upon.

•Pick up parts from a hold location if needed, and ship core parts back if needed.
