Trained and implemented Python facial recognition software along with RFID control running on a Raspberry Pi to control a lock listening for a signal from a main Django server (with a Flask intermediary). Users can create accounts and register a Raspberry Pi-controlled lock to monitor and control remotely. I was responsible for implementing the facial recognition software on the Django server, as well as interfacing the RFID scanner and webcam with the Raspberry Pi to take the pictures and send them to the Django server. Created a JavaScript Express server to connect to Twitter API and use sentiment analysis to gauge sentiment for a keyword entered by a user with a mobile-first user interface and a custom made API for generating result graphs. I was responsible for setting up the Node.js express server, connecting to the Twitter API, analyzing the sentiment of the user entered keywords, and creating an API so that results could be displayed again when shared with other people.
