M.TECH THESIS (2014- 15):

Title:-Design of Solar Powered Mini Aerial vehicle (MAV) for surveillance.

Supervisor:-Dr. Hemendra Arya, IIT Bombay

Description:-This work is primarily concerned with design and tests the ability of Solar Powered Mini Aerial Vehicle which has at least 10 hours of endurance. Idea of harnessing the energy which is coming from the Sun in the form of solar radiation play an important role in efficient performance. The direct radiation from the sun is collected and converted in to electricity using photo voltaic cell. This electrical energy is then used to charge the onboard batteries and supply power to the propeller through the motor. For the successful solar flight I have focused on the solar earth model to get maximum solar radiation. Efficiency of the photo voltaic cell to get maximum conversion rate. Area of the collector, aspect ratio wing area . Design optimization of solar powered UAV and Motor Propeller matching has been carried out in MATLAB .Basic design of a Propeller has been done in JAVA-Prop software and Auto CAD.

B.TECH Project (2008-2009):

Title:-Solar Tracking System

Supervisor:-Dr. A.L Tiwari, IES-IPS Academy Indore

I did my final year B.Tech project on the problem of optimum utilization of Solar energy by implementation of solar tracking algorithm. The solar tracking algorithm is based on finding the point at which the Solar intensity is maximum .This ensure the optimum collection of solar radiation through the Solar Panel.
