Verizon Business Data Center Network Analyst 2014 May to 2015 March

Creating, managing and escalating Network problem tickets as a technical support analyst at Verizon 24hr Enterprise Data Center.

1.Tasks included managing an average of 50 tickets a day/night and solving 15-20 tickets a day. This included Network traffic incident management, ensuring security of traffic flowing through the network including firewalls statements, ACLs and login/password encryption, changes and implementation for clients enterprise networks: Switch (including nexus 5548 layer 3) and router load-balancing, devices using SDM to access networks and apply Cisco IOS commands. Routing protocols used were EIGRP, OSPF and BGP. Switch ( Catalyst 1900, 3500s, 6500, Nexus 5548) managing VLANs, Trunks, Ether-channels for high availability and redundancy including HSRP& FHRP standby protocols.

Tasks included Ensuring SLAs are met, accurately perform incident and service request escalation, answer phones, read incoming emails, accept incoming chat requests and perform incident life-cycle management for owned tickets.

Corelogic Network Administrator 2007 Feb to 2014 April

Supported 300 end users in one location (create/enable/disable/unlock/drive allocation templates), including user profiles and configured the user account properties and group policies to manage user profiles.

Allocated static and dynamic IP Addresses to using DHCP and enabled synchronization of lease information between servers using DHCP Server fail-over protocol.

Installed and configured Cisco 2600 and 3600 series routers via Telnet to Ethernet interface to establish WAN connection between two subnets located in San Diego and Santa Ana. Also installed, configured and managed catalyst 1900 series switches for the companies VLANs.
