Designed high-speed manufacturing equipment for the fluorescent and incandescent lamp industry. These machines were designed to replace old equipment or to produce new products. My duties included making design calculations, making 3D models, directing drafting support and design documentation and debugging the final machinery. Provide drawings that met ASME Y14.5 Dimensioning and Tolerance standards.
Designed portions of a Halogen headlight capsule production line.
Designed machinery for several fluorescent production lines that ran at speeds of up to 6500 parts/hour. These production lines could be adjusted to produce both single pin and dual pin products from18 inches up to 6 feet long.
Worked on wire forming equipment for Automount machinery. Parts fed into the fluorescent production line.
End effectors for ADEPT robots to work on a production line.

Developed components for automated placement equipment in the electronics surface mount industry on PCB’s. Projects included electrical component tape feeders and other vibratory feeder modules.

Automated the assembly of several of the fluorescent Curvalume components.
