Project - M Tech (01/07/2015 to 30/06/2016):

Development of 30kV, 220mA High Voltage DC power supply Using Resonant Converters

(BARC, Mumbai)

• Developed a 30kV Power Supply using Resonant Converters.

• Using Resonant Converters decreases the Switching loses, increases load range and improves Voltage regulation.

• Power Supply is used for Marx based system, Inductive storage system, Electro forming, Welding system, High voltage and Current testing of the Capacitor, Material Breakdown Strength properties.

• Size of the Power Supply is small as compared to Linear Power Supply of same rating.

• Can work on near short circuit condition.

Project -Engineering (01/10/2013 to 15/05/14):

Dielectric Diagnosis of EHV Surge Arrester (Crompton Greaves ltd, Nashik)

• Performed diagnosis of Surge Arrester using PDC and FDS techniques.

• Developed a reference curve for the dielectric of a healthy Surge Arrester for a range of frequencies.

• Device used is OMICRON device.

• Can be used in fields to estimate the life of the on field Surge Arrester, using the reference curve, and precautions can be taken accordingly.

• Method saves time as don’t have to wait till the total failure of the Surge Arrester. Technical / Soft Skill Trainings:

• 5 days “Soft Skill Development Workshop” organized by D-Source, Nashik

(2012).

• 2 days "Software training - MATLAB, PSCAD, SABER" organised by IIT-Bombay.

• 2 days "Software training - LABVIEW" organised by Sardar Patel College of Engineering.

• 2 days "Software training - PSCAD" organised by AKER solutions. Academic Achievements:
