Intelligent Image Enhancement and removal of cracks in digitized paintings

In this, the normal image is converted into grayscale mode to remove the cracks. the cracks can be easily identified in gray scale than in color mode. after removing the cracks it is then converted into its original color by using color coding algorithm.
