Qualities: I am a hard worker, fast learner who enjoys a good challenge. I work well with my mind and hands, along or in a group. I have been in the Construction Industry for over 14 years, both self-employed and as an employee. I obtained my GED in 1992, took some college courses on sociology and human resources and development but did not like the studies. I am currently studying for my Bachelor degree in Project Management. I earned my Associate of Arts Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD),. Owning my own remodeling/construction company has given me management skills I could never have learned in a traditional college course. I supervised 2 work crews of 5 men; planning the schedule for the work week and keeping everybody on task and on schedule. Conferencing (in person or on the phone) with clients has given me great communication skills.
