The lever attachments are designed to triggering the side stand and push back it to rest position automatically while the rider applying the first gear of the vehicle. Project topic : Analysis of mechanical properties and characterization by machining the aluminum metal matrix composite using wire cut EDM Project description : A MMC is prepared by reinforcing aluminum 7075 with 10% SiC by stir casting. Mechanical tests such as tensile, compression, hardness tests are done to analyze the mechanical properties and SEM, XRD, EDAX tests are done to read the micro structure of MMC. The MMC is machined in WEDM machine to know the metal removal rate and surface roughness by varying the process parameters in machining. Three various EDM wires are used and the best wire for machining the prepared MMC is chosen by comparing the machining results. Co-Curricular Activities
