Conducted digital forensic investigations, eDiscovery activities and live incident response on computers and networks in classroom environment for three years as a full-time student of MS program with a major in Computer Forensics, rigorously instructed and supervised by top federal forensic investigation practitioners and experts from Washington, DC;

Forensically acquired and examined data on computers, networks and mobile devices with various operating systems to establish whether they have been a target, instrument or contained evidence of malicious act(s) in cases involving data exfiltration, misuse of company’s computing resources, identity exploitation, unlawful data interception, fraud, industrial espionage and other cybercrimes;

In order to carry out all digital forensic investigations used various commercial and open source forensic solutions (EnCase, FTK, Backtrack, BlackBag, X-Ways Forensics, Sysinternals, ProDiscover, SMART, Volatility, NUIX, Oxygen, Cellebrite, LogiCube, XRY, network packet analyzers etc.); written my own pieces of digital forensic software focusing on time efficient extraction of computer system artifacts of forensic interest and capturing volatile evidence;

As a part of performed examinations and live response activities extracted and analyzed various types of artifacts (i.e. metadata, registry, internet history, various logs, graphic files, deleted files, user activity, byte-level artifacts etc.); detected data obfuscation; acquired and analyzed victim computer system memory in a number of real life scenarios, identified malicious attack vectors based on findings;

During the course of the hands-on forensic investigations and incident response tasks as a part of my academic studies, continuously acquired and implemented a professional knowledge of generally accepted digital forensic investigation principles, best practices, concepts, technical and legal standards in order to produce pertinent, forensically sound conclusions and court admissible evidence; used judgment in locating and selecting the proper procedures and technical solutions in performing those aspects of the work that were not specifically prescribed.

Based on the findings of performed digital forensic examinations written reports addressing the objectives of incoming requests for investigation, provided technical advice and recommendations to victim parties (individuals and enterprises) when appropriate;
