Systems Electronics Knightdale, NC May 2000 – Mar. 2003 Installation Technician * Installed Nurse Call and Intercom Systems for hospitals, nursing homes and dialysis clinics. I was responsible for the wiring;termination and programming of Rauland nurse call systems. this consisted of pulling low voltage wiring to location;terminating each to specification and testing each for continuity. The use of hand tools to install amplifiers,speakers,lighted domes and the precise programming of these systems was necessary to ensure proper operation

Shop repair to component level (using technical orders, writing diagrams and schematic drawings (frequency shift keying modems, receiver transmitter, control units, power supplies, amplifiers, and other electronic test equipment for each system. Hands on experience and working knowledge with multi-meter oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power meters, frequency counters and other associated electronic test equipment. Wrote the training plans for my section and supervised personnel. Directly involved with the Air Force’s Phase II High Electro Magnetic Pulse (H.E.M.P) testing at Harry Diamond Labs in Woodbridge, VA.
