U.S. 202 Parkway Project Construction Inspection Services, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Central Office. TCM. Management and support of SR 202-721 Parkway project inspection team consisting of 8 inspectors and supervisors. Assisted RE with administrative, environmental, and construction issues. The project includes the construction of seven bridges, 11 retaining walls, improvements to connecting streets, drainage improvements, utility relocation, concrete sidewalk and curbs, traffic signals, pavement markings, signing, lighting, landscaping, and trailhead parking areas for a multiuse trail. The protection of Bog Turtle habitat and important environmental features in cooperation with USACOE, PADEP and Bucks Co. Conservation District considered critical during this time.

Readiness Center for PAARNG Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Willow Grove Joint Forces Reserve Base, Horsham Township, Pennsylvania. US Property and Fiscal Office for Pennsylvania. Construction Associate. Construction inspection for site work, underground utilities, foundations and building shell construction of the Readiness Center facility, including armory vaults, and preparation of progress meeting minutes on a regular basis. A new Readiness Center (RC) was planned at Willow Grove Joint Forces Reserve Base to serve the peacetime missions of the PAARANG and Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) units, the 56th SBCT HQ and HHC, and 556 MI Company. The 48,436-square-foot RC is designed for approximately 32 permanent and 283 Army National Guard/Reserve personnel to work and train at this facility.

Doylestown Phase 2 Construction Inspection, Delaware Valley College, Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Doylestown Borough/Doylestown Township. TCIS. Deeply involved in pre-construction, construction and close-out of a round-the-clock 84 hour bridge demolition and replacement under an active SEPTA Regional Rail line. As IIC, coordinated planning and scheduling with SEPTA engineers, township sponsor, PennDOT, and Delaware Valley College facilities staff for this $1 million bridge and trail project. To facilitate the trail the bridge needed widening over a college roadway. To enable bridge replacement in just four days, all bridge elements (including foundation) were fabricated in advance off-site, then trucked to the site.

Tookany Creek Walking Trail, Cheltenham, Pennsylvania. Cheltenham Township, Pennsylvania. TCIS. Inspector-In-Charge for all field inspection, coordination, and documentation for constructing approximately one mile of walking paths within Tookany Creek Park as Phase 2 of the 2.2 mile long trail corridor, following my service as the IIC in previous Phase 1 construction.

Engineering Design and Post-Construction Experience

S.R. 0202, Section 701 Parkway Design, Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, District 6-0. Construction Associate. As part of the larger project design team, responsible for utility relocation coordination, Open Plan design project scheduling, and field verification of existing conditions in support of design questions. Also participated in public information tasks, researching deeds for ROW clearance, and design phase construction consultation. During project construction phase, provided regular periodic environmental oversight monitoring of construction operations to ensure compliance with USACOE, PADEP and County Conservation District environmental permit conditions and special provisions.

Design of the two-mile section of U.S. Route 202, Section 701 as a new road on a new alignment also included significant preliminary work along SR 63, Welsh Rd.

S.R. 0202, Section 700 - Project Management and ITS Design, Montgomery and Bucks Counties, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, District 6-0. Construction Associate. Worked on issues involving existing utilities in the other project Sections, and creating the new sign removal plan for final conversion of existing SR 0202 to new US 0202 corridor. The new 8+ mile parkway design involved stakeholders extensively, produced a modern 4 lane road in Montgomery Co. and a scenic 2 lane parkway in Bucks Co., and a continuous 12 ft. wide trail with modern bio-retention areas and trailhead parking areas.

Design and Construction Phase Services for S.R. 202, Section 300, Chester County, Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, District 6-0. Team Member. Limited role in general support function during preliminary and final design for widening of S.R. 202 from four lanes to six lanes, a collector road at the S.R. 29 (Great Valley) Interchange, and new traffic signals at the S.R. 401 (Conestoga Road) Interchange.

S.R. 8045 Gustine Lake Interchange Preliminary and Final Design, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, District 6-0. Team Member, miscellaneous duties as assigned, including scheduling and traffic count assistance during design to replace five grade-separation structures at the intersections of Lincoln Drive, Kelly Drive and Ridge Rd.

West Maple Ave/Salford Station Road Preliminary and Final Design, SR 0213 (West Maple Ave) over Neshaminy Creek, SR 1024 (Salford Station Rd) over Perkiomen Creek, Bucks and Montgomery Counties, Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, District 6-0. Team member, prepared the pre-bid construction schedules for the two projects.

Three Mile Island Steam Generator Transportation Project, Maryland and Pennsylvania. AREVA NP Inc. Team Member. Part of an advance party for pre-transport GIS mapping of existing underground utilities along the land route to create baseline for identifying potential damages caused by the transport of two 510-ton steam generators from Port Deposit, Maryland to the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant. The Superload transport move covered 75 miles in 15 days and qualified as the largest load ever transported on both Pennsylvania and Maryland roadways.

Construction Management, Inspection and Consultation for the Lower Wissahickon Green Ribbon Trail, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Montgomery County Planning Commission. Construction Associate.
