PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Technical Engineer CDG, a Boeing Company, March 2012- February 2016

Coordinated and translated engineering data from Boeing’s central database in preparation for fabrication drawing production.

Designed fabrication drawings, based on logical grouping of the parts to create 3D illustrated part data for Boeing 787 Dreamliner utilizing proprietary 3D drafting software.

Quality Assurance - inspected 3D models, generated by others, to investigate any missing or conflicting geometry between interior commodities. Any discrepancies were noted in follow-up reports.

Coordinated international work for 24-hour, continuous work-cycle.

Project Engineer – Benchmarcx - Xnergy, Feb 09 – Apr 09

Estimated materials for project startup equipment to meet project estimating deadlines.

Coordinated with general contractors’ project management team to ensure plans, submittals, and specifications for each job were received and approved on schedule and complete.

Responsible for updating and communicating job progress reports, plans, and schedules, working closely with the Project Manager.

Reviewed details of each submittal package and RFI to verify conformance with project drawings and specifications, as required by the binding contract.

Estimator / Field Engineer- Kiewit Pacific Co, Aug 2006 - Feb 2008

Estimated material quantity: waste water treatment construction and material costs for structural and mechanical disciplines.

Streamlined estimating software for structural estimating; presented program to Project Managers for feedback; trained fellow employees for implementation and use. The software now used company wide.

Compiled start-up books for handoff to customer with proper instrumentation operations and maintenance instructions.

Prepared and compiled project closeout packages and punchlists; implemented a project quality control plan; coordinated close out of co-generation and chiller buildings on university campus.

Processed submittals, change orders and RFIs for miscellaneous equipment (piping, valves, pumps, fittings, expansion joints, etc.) leading to purchase and requisition for a waste water treatment plan.

Received, distributed, and interpreted plans, specifications, and details for subcontractors and craft personnel, while managing installation activities.

Updated general schedule for weekly and monthly job progress updates to the client.
