Patient and family education, assessment of both inpatients and outpatients, wound care, and triage. Assisting with developing plans of care, care coordination. Assisting with procedures. Infusion center patient monitoring, chemotherapy, biotherapy, hydration, immunotherapy, blood

product infusion, and antibiotic administration as well as patient and family education and care coordination. Serve as a resource RN, delineate assignments, and coordinate patient treatment plans with physicians.

Mercy Medical Center, St. Louis - Hematology/Oncology Unit– Charge RN 2006-2014

Supervised up to eight RNs on both night and day shifts on a 50 bed unit, delineated nursing assignments, served as nursing resource, and attended to difficult situations regarding staff and patient demands. Chemotherapy and biotherapy administration, patient and family teaching/support, care coordination and scheduling, telephone triage, venous access, experience with a variety of central lines. Provided care for team of up to seven patients both medical and hematology/ oncology patients. Floated to medical units throughout the hospital including skilled nursing, long-term care units.

Mercy Medical Center, St. Louis - Medical Surgical ICU, Staff RN 2011-2012

Care of 1 2 high acuity patients. Assisting with bedside procedures such as central line catheter and arterial line placement, bronchoscopy, cardioversions, intubations, etc. Post-surgical stabilization, post cardiac catheterization stabilization, ventriculostomy management, ICP monitoring, EKG interpretation, wound care and prevention, hemodynamic monitoring and stabilization of sepsis patients, procedural sedation and continuous anesthesia management, blood product infusions.
