Responsibilities:

Assisting in actioning of technical documents and preparation of Engineering Orders for Service Bulletin, Service Letter, Airworthiness Directive and Fleet Team Digest.

Collecting data from various sources like Delay Occurrence Report, Flight Report, Sector Page, Snag Sheets, History Cards-Various Repair Shops in order to carry out Delay, Defect and Incident Analysis

Maintaining documents in technical services like Delay, Incident, SB and ATA chapter folders.

Associated with Preparation of SSFDR and EAFR certificates for Extension of C of A and Renewal of ARC.

Preparation of SB compliance reports.

Associated with MEL preparation.

Preparation of unscheduled removal statistics report for various components.

Preparation of System Configuration Document / Tree

Familiarization of various technical documents like MEL, MPD, AMM, FIM, IPD/IPC, WDM, FCOM etc.

Aircraft system performance alert exceedance report.

Checking stock of materials against the material demand using RAMCO.

Tracking material location and checking status of Purchase Order using RAMCO.

Assisting in follow up of open repair orders and purchase orders.

Finding availability of required parts as per the demand of Production Planning Department.

Assisted in finding out alternate part for the demanded part.

Finding scrap notes of required parts against which no purchase request is made.

PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN

STUDY OF ACTIVE MAGNETIC BEARING (AMB) POWERED JET ENGINE– Mini project In this project we studied about the chance of implementation of AMB in jet engine by which the main shaft is magnetically levitated and rotated. By this we can reduce friction and mechanical wears and thus the losses and service intervals can be reduced.

TURBOJET ENGINE WITH DOUBLE COMPRESSION– Working model This was a simple working model in which we introduced another compressor section after combustion chamber for better performance. In this model it seems to be effective but the introduction of this in real jet engine is practically impossible.

GAS TURBINE JET ENGINE– Working model

A complex aircraft engine transformed into a simple working model. This was a basic model created to explain the working of jet engine. The model was made using turbocharger. DESIGN, FABRICATION AND ANALYSIS OF MAGNETIC BEARING JET ENGINE-Main project An aircraft engine with active magnetic bearing for improved properties. In this a turbo charger was separated to the compressor and turbine section and a new extended shaft was build to connect these two. Then the oil seal was replaced by AMB and the initial starting of the engine is done by this AMB and the shaft is levitated by this. Since axial flow was not able create centrifugal flow of air from turbine was used for combustion. FIELDS OF INTEREST
