AOG Customer Support Officer

Provide immediate customer support in response to Aircraft on Ground (AOG) requirements working with the Maintenance Support Center to ensure accurate and timely response.

Initiate customer order within the AMOS ERP system.

Perform frequent and consistent customer contact via telephone and e-mail communications including daily conference calls with suppliers and customers.

Work across cross-functional departments to aid in expediting AOG response requirements.

Place purchase order directly with suppliers.

Utilize multiple procurement resources to source parts required to solve AOG requirements.

Organize and monitor logistics to transport AOG parts from global warehouse network location or point of purchase to the final customer destination.

Expedite shipments in progress including confirming shipping details and confirming appropriate expedited means of conveyance to meet the defined requirement.

AOG Buyer

Negotiate cost and procurement of time critical parts delivery to Flexjet Fixed Base Operators (FBO) and contracted FBOs, as well as drop shipments to foreign locations to maintain flexibility for customers’ flight schedules.

Ensure all related transactions are accurate and complete, which facilitates timely core returns; reduce vendor penalties for late returns; and reduce warranty parts claims timeframe.

Conduct continuity training for all departments, while maintaining productivity and quality during periods of labor shortage. In addition, conduct daily huddles to increase associates involvement, awareness, and re-enforcement of work policy and processes.

Responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual and automated systems tasks necessary for the daily pick, pack and shipment of approximately 35,000 product lines. Apply Lean Manufacturing Principles to improve Receiving Processes and Procedures
