SR PROJECT ENGINEER TECHTRONIC INDUSTRIES ANDERSON, SC 2008-2016

• Senior group leader of product development for world’s leading power tool producer, responsible for managing multiple programs simultaneously – from project initiation to concept design, engineering design, component costing estimation, manufacturing and production, and support of mature products.

• Lead CAD team, proving out technical concepts and product specification compliance.

• Lead global, cross-functional team in written and verbal forms, driving all technical elements of product execution including assemblies, material selection, packaging, safety, and regulatory standards compliance.

• Responsible for writing global product test specifications, developing prototypes, and in-house test requests with results follow-up.

• Communicate weekly with Executive Power Tool Committee, including company President; efficiently communicating and defining program issues and status to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Minimum of 2 weeks per year international travel to China.

• Leader of cross-functional Mechanical Sourcing Team, coordinating international component and tooling procurement for automotive electronic control units and air flow meters.
