Capabilities:
. Organizational agility - key strength is ability to get things done
through formal channels and informal networks. Very good at
communicating and working effectively with people at all levels,
within and outside an organization.
. Strategic thinking - because of involvement in various organizations
as well as globally within an organization, I keep up with current
business issues, the latest tools and solutions that can be applied,
and am very successful in inspiring others to work on proactive
initiatives.
. Integrity and trust - often consulted on confidential and sensitive
issues because of a long-standing reputation for helping people who
were not comfortable with other routes.
. Customer focus - one of my key roles is to help organizations
emphasize dedication to customers.
. Process management and problem solving - working in the field of
quality for virtually my entire career, my practice is to look at
things in terms of process and profit.
. Negotiating and presentation skills - conducted hundreds of training
programs and gave presentations to employees at all levels and groups
of all sizes.
Accomplishments:
. Assembled and led the multi-organizational team which created an
innovative new ISO certification (RC 14001) for the chemical industry.
. Organized and led the internal auditors within a Fortune 100 multi-
national company to achieve synergies, common audit practices and
shared resources for internal audits throughout all businesses of the
company, such as: textiles, agricultural, cosmetics, vitamins, fiber
products, chemicals, pharmaceutical, FDA & cGMP governed products,
plastics, automotive parts and paints, dyes, pigments, distribution
and all service organizations (i.e., Treasury, Purchasing,
Engineering, R&D, Human Resources, etc.) Through this group, the
company benefited from the available pool of resources, and all
auditors involved developed additional expertise in many other types
of businesses and service organizations.
. Developed and implemented successful corporate-wide internal
benchmarking project, the results of which were copyrighted,
published, and utilized.
. Improved communication and modified company culture as CEO's liaison
with all employees.
. Helped solve complex issues with business group representatives and
their key customers.
. Initiated and trained all service function employees in quality
topics, specific to their needs.
. Developed a successful company-wide approach to sharing best practices
for over a decade.
. For outstanding leadership, was presented the 2001 QAD Quality Auditor
of the Year award.
. For outstanding instruction and lasting contribution, was presented a
Certificate of Appreciation from ASQ - June 30, 2008.
