As plan analyst I would review and approve new plans for the installation and construction of advertising signs serving new and established commercial businesses. Plans and designs consisted of land title surveys, basic electrical schematics, graphic illustrations and design specifications by a Texas certified engineer. Conducted field inspections on construction material, rebar, pipe specifications and all components for in ground foundations. Inspected clearance requirements for gas lines, underground utilities and easements to ensure installation of the sign structure met code compliance. Provided bilingual interpretation via phone and in person on sign code questions and customer problems.
