EXPERIENCE: Offering strong experience with Chief Dispatcher, Dispatching, and Air Traffic Systems Management, flight monitor flight control of military and civilian aircraft together with solid education background (Master’s Degree in Aviation Management; Bachelor of Science Degree in Travel, Transportation and Tourism). Chief Dispatcher: coached, mentored and monitored 20 dispatchers on an eight hour shift to ensure the safe flight operations (domestic & international) in accordance with FAA and ICAO regulations. Monitored Dispatchers’ Releases and Flight Plans for route usage, alternate (destination & Extended Range Operations Planning) nomination balanced against fuel planning for company profit considerations. Requested over flight permit request and landing slot request clearances. Per Transport Worker’s Union Contract, monitored dispatchers work hours and “sick call call-out”.

Air Traffic Systems Coordinator: Liaison with FAA Command Center daily on a bi-hourly basis to discuss the status of the National Airspace (NAS). Coordinated and negotiated routes during weather reroutes. Negotiated Slot Delay Programs for our Hub Airports during times of extreme weather or other times when the arrival rate at the airport could not support the normal arrival demand for that airport. Discussed and determined resolutions for entry and exists into ground delay programs. Took steps to minimize arrival delays during poor weather or low arrival rate days which facilitated a better “on-time” percentage in spite of challenging conditions. Facilitated connecting passengers and minimized possibility of penalty by government organizations for delayed flight operations by both U.S.A and European. Coordinates with Euro Control to minimize departure delays in Europe due Airspace Regulation.

Aircraft Dispatcher: (International & Domestic Operations); Shared responsibility with the Flights’ Captains for the safe operations of the flights. Reviews weather for origin, destination & alternate, NOTAMS, Crash Fire Rescue status, Runway Status, Minimum Equipment Lists, prepares flight plan, files I.C.A.O/ATC Flight Plans, and approves Flight inaugurations by Dispatch Releases of Flights. Monitors Flights’ Progress. Re dispatches Flights operating on re dispatch releases and flight plans. Relays PIREPS, Turbulence reports, airport or runway closure, weather changes or other pertinent safety information to the flights’ Captains. Coordinates with the flights’ Captains when a destination change is required and authorizes the destination change. During MAC Charter Operations (Military Airlift Command), ensured diplomatic clearances were input correctly on the ICAO filing and communicated to the pilots. Ensured U. S. State Department coordinated route was displayed correctly in the pilot’s flight plan and ICAO filing. Via e-mail and telephone, communicated OUT/OFF/ETA times to MAC/HQ and arrival stations’ point of contacts. Via telephone, coordinated with the station contact in the event of diversion. Air Space Management: Directed military aircraft via tactical radar and radio for combat operations. Managed air space for U. S. Air Force.
