QUALITY PLUS SERVICES: Sr. CAD/BIM Modeler and Designer. Nevada 5/16 to present
For contractor QPS, my Tesla site walks were routine using a laser and sketches/pics to establish viable install routes: depicted inside Navisworks as the CAD MEP overlay. I then constructed the highly detailed models for Tesla approval, and for inspection by our foremen. Drawings included extensive conduit runs; panel displays; all possible support hardware; blockouts. Generating both dimensioned lighting plans and seismic support detail is required in longer work timelines. Inspecting semi-weekly releases of a “Federated” model assures that our work is approved and accurate. I also modeled trapeze, disconnects, panels, stands, accessory hardware in very detailed displays.
LINCOLN ELECTRIC SYSTEMS, LLC (TORCHMATE div): Sr. CAD Modeler and Drafter Nevada 11/15 – 5/16
Solid modeling; parametric manipulation; creating extensive engineering drafts with Solid Edge: all, my primary functions. This broad skillset is heavily relied upon due to LES recently acquiring Vernon Tool and Torchmate.
