Provide 24/7 on-call support for IBM Domino, Notes Traveler, Sametime and Lotus Notes clients in mid-size (8000 users) company. Design, install, test, configure and administer Domino and Traveler servers on both Windows and i5/OS platforms with high availability. Assist internal security team with the implementation and testing of new security enhancements. Provide training for service desk personnel and new team members as well as creation of documentation of common or best practices. Assist Legal, Human Resource and managerial personnel with procurement and access of mail records. Ensure Service Level Agreements of service tickets are not breached and customers are served in a timely manner. Creation of Disaster Recovery plans and participant of enterprise-wide Disaster Recovery exercises. Coordinate with other IT teams and implement projects with enterprise-wide scopes.
Data Center Operations Intern at Oshkosh Corporation (September 2012 – April 2014)
Responsible for ensuring proper backups of applications housed on the i5/OS platform. Installed, updated, and troubleshot Vertex Tax software for test and production environments. Installed and configured of Halcyon monitoring software which led to over $20k saved for the company over the previous monitoring software. Performed file restores from tape drives requested by the Legal and Human Resource departments. Responsible for monitoring iSeries LPARs performance and creation of weekly and monthly reports of various performance statistics.
