During my 12/13-year term with Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 36, I contributed to the development of an efficient workflow by processing improvements making it possible to accommodate increasing responsibilities by staff reduction. I was a very conscious person, provided my employer with the utmost proficient and accurate performance required to complete any and all duties associated Sheet Metal Workers Local 36. While working for the President of the union, I was responsible for composing letters, email, banquet arrangements, travel arrangements, ad design creation/preferences, and miscellaneous political research, managing to perform to the best of my abilities to his satisfaction. I was also responsible for the account payables for members of the union by being accountable for all aspects of the posting, running reports, and balancing of members’ dues. I had an excellent rapport with the Contractors and Members’ of the Local Union by respectfully assisting to advise the Contractors’ on various union issues; the re-issuance of their bonds, new wage rates, and miscellaneous information associated with the union.
