Re: Plant Manager
I am pretty excited about your opening for Plant Manager and I hope to be invited for an interview.
My background includes over 20 years of working experience in the medical device industry. Over the past 10 years I have served as Director of Manufacturing Operations and Director of Supply Chain in LivaNova (formerly Cyberonics). In these roles I have managed multiples areas with their respective budgets, personnel and processes. Areas included, manufacturing, packaging, sterilization and labeling of implantable product; planning, warehousing and shipping; purchasing of raw materials and supplies, and supplier management.
Prior to LivaNova I worked for 11 years in Medtronic. During this time I worked in the facilities of Juncos, PR and Brooklyn Center, MN where I managed multiple areas as well with their respective budgets, personnel and processes. Areas included manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, materials, facilities/maintenance and EHS.
As part to my work experience I have worked in Lean-Sigma projects resulting in gains of efficiency and increase of output capacity.
