ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
Location Based Proximity Alert in Android using GPS & Network Provider
Location Based Services provide the users a set of services which originate from the geographic location of the user’s mobile device. The request for location can originate in the mobile device or in another entity like application provider or network operator. It is possible to automatically trigger location based services when the mobile device is at a particular location. This application allows users to switch between GPS and Network provider at anytime.
Software used are Android Development Tools pug-in, Eclipse IDE for Java, Eclipse JDT plug-in, JDK 6 and JRE.
