PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Nokia (2011 – Present)

Engineering Manager Systems Verifications Performance Test.

• Manager of RF Performance System Test Group Delivering 4G LTE with Voice Over LTE to the KDDI customer in Japan. Stringent Requirement for voice and data performance testing and KPI’s were successfully completed to meet the System Level performance for this technology. Product deliveries include KDDI Dual Technology, CDMA/LTE/VOLTE Base Stations to be deployed throughout Japan.

• Test Architect for KDDI Japan 2.1 GHZ LTE/CDMA Project. Managed global team of test engineers, creating global system test strategy for functional and system performance testing. Lab allocation, capital and engineering test resources managed to successfully assure the product quality expectation for launch in Japan. This extremely rapid Program was delivered 2 weeks ahead of schedule on top of a 50 % planned reduction in Program cycle time.

• LED RF Performance Test group in testing SW Release Programs. The Complex RF Performance testing encompassed critical LTE features, Voice over LTE, Carrier Aggregation, DRX and Voice quality. Performance targets of maximum data throughput, low latency and call reliably were exceeded. Focus was on continuous SW improvement.

• Ran Daily meeting to address complex issue affecting data/voice call performance with High Level Systems Engineers teams, Development and RF testing. Reported results and status in weekly Operational and status meeting.

• Executed interoperability testing with QCOM new chipset and Prototype UE. This assured feature performance expectations prior to commercial deployment.

• Validated customer Performance parameters proposed for their commercial system via a real Over the Air lab in Finland.
