Founder of the above corporation in 1969. A Fire Protection Sales, Service and Engineering firm that employed up to 35 employees over the course of its existence here in the Western New York area. Owned and operated until my retirement and eventual sale of the company in 2015. Owning and running a business for over 45 years afforded me with the life experience of handling customer relations, understanding the delicate balance of providing buyer satisfaction, and making a profit. I was personally involved in all aspects of the operation of the company.
In addition, as a business owner with employees, it was important to me to understand that an employee was not only a company asset, but also an important implement. Employees were paid but in all cases, shared in any profit made, making each and everyone an owner in their own right. With a personal interest in the company, they took pride in their work and were always loyal to the overall concept of running a successful business.
PERSONAL GOAL
As a retiree, and a continuing productive member of society, I am interested in keeping busy and also earning additional income. Working from home would be my goal, since I do have Computer Skills and am experienced in the use of Microsoft programs and other business related programs.
Data Entry, Resume’ Writing, Writing Proposals, Writing Cover Letters, Writing Advertisement Ads; all of which I have experience with.
