Scope/Description:
Construction of the plant began in July 2015 by VSL Philippines and Boygues. The Cadiz plant was developed by Helios Solar Energy Corp., a joint venture between Thailand-based Soleq Solar Co. and Gregorio Araneta Inc. The Construction cost of the plant amounts to 10 billion. Responsibilities:
Management of all pre-commissioning and commissioning work.
Coordinate with project engineers from subcontractors and suppliers regarding commissioning schedules.
Responsible for day to day activities on site, planning resources and coordinating inspections with authorities and clients representatives.
Ensure that all commissioning activities are carried out so as to ensure the delivery of fully operational project complete in every aspect. This includes review of all commissioning documentation, performance, reliability durability of operation, accessibility, and maintainability of the equipment.
Supervise the daily task of the team of test and commissioning technicians.
Check and prepare the final documentation folder (factory & site tests reports)

Title: Electrical Commissioning Engineer

Scope/Description:
Hatch, in joint venture with Technip, has been awarded by Falconbridge Limited the project for the construction of Koniambo nickel smelter unit. The engineering will be carried out by Technip and Hatch’s engineering centers. Facilities at this world-class nickel operation will include the laterite mine and ore-transport facilities, a pyro-metallurgical ore processing plant with associated utilities, a coal-fired power plant and other infrastructures. The overall investment in the Koniambo project will total about US$ 2.2 billion.
Responsibilities:
Plant wide Commissioning and Pre-operations testing of electrical systems for the Koniambo Nickel Project's Facilities:

Lead a team of technicians and manage the documentation for electrical commissioning such as taking over certificates, as-built drawings, manufacturer manuals and instructions, signalling lists, test procedures, risk assessment and health and safety method statement, end of commissioning reports.
Oversee setting-up and testing of protection relays for MV feeders, power transformers, and motor control centers
Set-up of MV and LV Variable Frequency Drive for different motor applications. Including set-up of multi protection relays for direct on- line MV and LV motors.
