Project Description:

Fidessa is used as a middle office product for booking of trades, which is an important activity in the trade management lifecycle. Once trades are executed, trade has to be booked by Fidessa so that it can be routed to back office. Testing of various trade flows in Fidessa is one of the core activities.

Responsibilities:

Understanding Fidessa product and testing it in various regions

Understanding the functionality based on business requirement document

Estimate time required for testing activity

Prepare Test plan and review test scenarios and get approval from business stakeholders

Automated test cases using Perl scripting which led to significant reduction in test execution time.

Involved with test case execution and defect management.
