Role: Performed a key role from the start to getting the data live including developing specifications, getting the programs developed, tested and executed in various environments like QA, Prod etc. Lead a team of 6 off-shore programmers.

1.CDW Middleware (CMW) – An application responsible for delivering CDW data to various applications for reporting purposes.
Technology: The data is delivered to other applications using stored procedures and in sequential files. COBOL II, DB2 SQL, DB2 Procedure Builder, NDM etc.
Role: Key-player in developing / maintaining stored procedures. Responsible for creating various CMM documents and production support.
2.Client Data Warehouse (CDW) – A crucial application in providing straight-thru processing for Bank of New York pertaining to the custody business.
Technology: The data is gathered by MQ series written out by legacy applications. The collected data is then stored on several large DB2 tables in real time giving illusion of real time processing. Stored procedures are then used to extract the data to create various SWIFT like messages. COBOL II, DB2 SQL, CICS, VSAM, IBM Utilities, FILEAID, BMC Load, SPUFI, QMF, Expediter, Endevor etc.
Role: Key-player in developing CICS back-ground programs to update the database. In-charge of testing the application in Integrated Testing Environment. Part of 2-member team to design and develop the CDW processing from one application. Designed and developed re-conciliation programs.
3.Global Security Processing : – One of the legacy systems to process the Global Securities transactions
Role: Lead analyst in modifying and testing the programs for account number conversion. Played important role in testing the application with London users.
4.Global Custody Systems (GCS) : Multi-Currency Accounting System for the Global Custody clients. The transaction data is fed by the legacy application via a VSAM file. The CICS application is then used to update various VSAM files to create reports and on-line enquiries.
Role: Key-member of the application team. Lead analyst for system enhancements and modifications including Euro implementation, Y2K conversion etc. In-charge of production support. Represented the application in weekly meeting the users, disaster recovery process. Lead a team of 3 programmer/analysts.

5.LAN Administration – The Local Area Network for the division.
Role: Responsible for LAN based tape back-up system. Member of the LAN administration team. Worked on solving users PC problems.
6.Lotus Notes Application – Appraisal Database for the properties.
Role: Responsible for maintaining, modifying and providing support for the application. Used Infopump to load excel data into Lotus Notes database.
7.Automated Financial System (AFS) – Commercial Loan System.
Role: Lead programmer in implementation of the package. Responsible for creation of PROCS, conversion of files, modifications, testing and documentation of in-house programs etc. Represented the division in disaster recovery process. Activities included analysis, creation of vital records backup and recovery PROCS. Responsible for production support.
8.Tenant Security System (TTS): Processing of tenant security deposits.
Role: Involved in maintenance of TTS and Special Account Processing System (SAPS) on DEC-20 and converting these applications from DEC-20 to IBM-9370. Activities included modifications to programs and procedures, design and development of new proof programs, user liaison etc.
9.IRS Compliance System: Database for IRS mandated information.
Role: System design. Supervised 1 programmer to implement the system.
