I have worked in several specialties within the medical field over the years developing great people skills while doing so. I have worked as a medical receptionist as well as a medical assistant. I have assisted in minor surgery, interrogated pacemakers, and assisted with treadmills and performed EKG’s on patients. I have scheduled appointments, surgery and medical procedures. I am completely familiar with medical terminology, OSHA and HIPPA regulations.

I was a Medical Service Specialist (medic) in the US Air Force AQR 90010 graduating with a certificate July 26, 1968.

I am also a licensed certified pharmacy technician licensed nationally and in the state of Texas. It would be possible to obtain Mississippi State license as well .

I worked as a medical assistant in the Baton Rouge, La area culminating in 1993. I worked in urology, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery and cardiology. I returned in 2002 to work for a neurosurgeon in Slidell, La.

I relocated to Fort Worth, Texas in 2007.

Pharmacy Technician School February 2008 to November 2008 in Fort Worth, Texas graduating with a 4.0 GPA and with honors.

Home Instead Senior Care Auust 2015 to February 2016 Caring for elderly people in their home. Medical care, cooking, light housekeeping, bathing.

Durham School Services – Justin, Texas January 2015 – June 2015. School bus monitor caring for special needs children while on the bus as well as helping them on and off the bus. Moved to Mississippi at the completion of the 22015 school year.

Davita RX – Coppell, Texas January 2013 –April 2013. I worked as a certified pharmacy tech for Da

vita Dialysis answering calls from patients refilling medications and answering any questions they may have pertaining to dialysis. Completed a 4 month contract with them.

HEB ISD – Bedford, Texas August 2011 – October 2012. I worked as a monitor on a special needs bus caring for special needs children and helping them on and off the bus.

JPS Health Network – Fort Worth, Texas August 2009 – June 2010. Worked as a certified pharmacy technician in a closed to the public facility, working the call center, the mail out section, labeling section and bagging section for prescriptions for patients.

I took time off to help care for a mother in law battling cancer until her death in 2010 and for my mom who had hardening of the arteries and underwent 2 hip

surgeries and passed away March 5, 2014.

I relocated to Long Beach, Mississippi July 2015.
