EXPERIENCE

Position : AIRCRAFT MECHANIC

Responsibility

1- Carry out maintenance tasks on A/C to a high level of quality and efficiency in accordance with

engineers instructions,

a) Making sure all task requirements are well understood and to clarify when in doubt.

b) All MM requirements regarding a specific task are rigidly adhered to.

c) All task preparations are duly complied with in accordance with Engineer's action plan.

3-Ensures tools and equipment are of the correct type to be used on A/C and properly used and

maintained,

a) Only using the types of toolings as stipulated in EPM.

b) Making sure the complete range of tools, as required by EPM, are available in tool box.

c) All tools used from Company's Stores are used properly and returned to Stores in a clean,

serviceable condition.

d) Continuously updating / replacing damaged tools as required by the allowance paid by the

to Company.

4-Maintains safe working environment for self and others in accordance with standard company

procedures.

a) Making sure published company procedures are frequently referred to and all contents are

carefully read and understood.

b) Arresting any potentially hazardous scenario (spillages, contaminations, etc) and alerting Engineer

/ SES.

c) Bringing to the attention of Engineer / SES any potentially hazardous / dangerous tools and

equipment

5-Observes closely house keeping rules at all times, reflecting Company's professional image.

a) Actively participating in stowing all maintenance equipment to their designated areas as directed

by ATS or his deputy.

b) Making sure personal lockers are kept clean and tidy and do not contain items that can be used on

the A/C, or from the A/C.

c) Cleanliness must always be observed and is an integral part of maintenance and therefore, must

be planned into any task.

6-Support and help colleagues as required,

a) Assist junior staff and offer advice on specialised tasks that can minimise grounding time.

b) Coach junior staff and set the pace to help achieve the milestones as planned by the Engineer.

c) Make self available for redeployment, by advising Engineer / ATS of availability

Administration duties as a RMS Allocator, Allocating Engineers & Technicians task to their PDAs .

Receiving Departure Calls, Sending Alert masseges to Departure Control & Out Station As per the request of Aircraft Engineer Or Shift Engineer .Allocating Vehciles to Engineers & Technicans

.Ordering Spares for Aircrafts through Ultramain.
