I participated with in-service training to nurses and the training of students from the University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne Schools of Pharmacy. With the Drug Use Disease State Management program I was involved with DUR's, ADE reporting and follow-up, P&T committee issues, training of pharmacists and medical residents in evidence-based initiatives for patient safety and cost savings for the hospital system. I also provided clinical pharmacy service on patient care rounds in the ICUs and the Family Practice unit.
