6.KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: (CURRENT, PIT SUPERVISOR)
-Conduct routine pattern inspections on a daily basis to ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental by our company employees, contractors and client employees
-Conduct continuous PTO’s to ensure that employees comply with relevant client and company standards
-Conduct continuous training and coaching on employees regarding the required standards and procedures.
-Conduct daily Risk Assessments and safe declarations by means of thorough pattern and bench inspections to ensure that the area is safe for all employees before commencement of task/operation/activity
-Ensuring rigs drill with the correct plan depths and drill on staked holes
-Getting the status for drill blocks and charge area for morning meetings
-Ensuring Face-plans and holes depth corresponds to what is on the ground
-Adding filler holes on crest when necessary
-Standing in for the blaster when absent
-Control the blast on blasting days.
-Notifying the departments of the blast and getting blast guards in position.
-Ensuring drill rigs square off for charging
-Ensuring that drill rigs have enough drilling space
-Attending line-up meetings to ensure that drill rigs operate at full potential.
-Managing Foreman and Junior Foreman to ensure line ups are followed
-Sorting out day to day problems to ensure rigs utilisation are met
-Ensuring general quality on drill pattern are up to standard
