JOB OBJECTIVE
I am seeking a position as a Machinist/Mechanical Assembler. I am self-motivating, responsible, and honest employee. I do not believe in wasting company time or my time; I am paid to work! Therefore, the company I am seeking, appreciates their employees and recognizes individuals that take initiative and provide incentives for a positive environment.
SKILLS AND JOB DUTIES
MACHINIST/ Familiar with warehouse machine operation, old style metal lathes, and vertical mills, operate forklifts, and assembly lines. I create custom tooling for
ASSEMBLER machining and painting, understanding and usage of adhesive products. Assemble wide variety of mechanical products and glass, knowledge of some electronic-mechanical assembly and screen printing, read prints for accurate inspections. Fabricate, design and repair tools and equipment with material such as, Delran, steel and aluminum while staying within tolerance. I have also worked in the paint shop, screen room, trained, and supervised departments. I assisted with organizing my previous company according to AS9100, ISO and 5S for certification.
PERFORMANCE In any task I am assigned, I use a natural and spontaneous energy to perform beyond expectations. I personally test all of my jobs for quality control for leaks, tension, and compression. My desire to successfully complete projects provides my motivation to achieve excellence.
FLEXIBLE Willing to try new challenges and able to handle change. I have been nick named “Mr. MacGyver” because I can problem solve parts that others can’t understand. I am interested in improving efficiency. As an example, I was the only employee with my previous employer that was cross-trained and used universally in all departments. In several cases, I helped to solve solutions and fabricate a tool or equipment to make the project easier or less expensive with the same value of quality.
