Designed high-regal warehouse building, structural steel truss system with slender columns, apex high over 12 m, covering area over 1.500 m2 with a clear single span about 20 m, total structural steel usage less then 40 kilos per m2.

Project Experience

Eight Bridges across the South Morava River, Leskovac, Serbia - Supervised construction of multi span bridges about 125m lent of each with post-tensioning concrete beams, deep foundations with HW piles. PE “Roads of Serbia” (85%) and local municipality (15%) funded complete construction with investment value about €4,000,000.

Residential 24 Apartments Building, Leskovac, Serbia – Provided landscape design and assisted supervision for construction of 24 apartments building in Leskovac, which has funded by the Federal Republic of Germany under the auspices of the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe. Total construction cost was €321,322.71.

Bridge across the Kozaracka River, Leskovac, Serbia – Provided structural design for construction using old Karpos reinforced girders from demolished bridges in the municipal area and composed with new slabs and riverbank columns.

Open Sports Courts in Residential Area Zele Veljkovic, Leskovac, Serbia – Provided landscape and structural design services of 2 basketball and handball open courts. Estimated construction cost was RSD 2 mil.

Bridge across the Vucjanka River, Leskovac, Serbia – Provided structural engineering design, construction documents, contract administration and supervision services for a post-tensioning concrete bridge with single 14m long span. It was composed of 6 new with keeping 3 old main girders with concrete 8 m wide slab. Total construction cost was 8.000.000 RSD.

City Bus Station, Leskovac, Serbia – Supervised 3rd construction phase - main station building with the commercial contents. Three level reinforced concrete space frame. The City Government funded a whole project with total costs about €1,000,000.

Municipal Assistance Centre, Leskovac, Serbia – Supervised construction of building for City administration services with reconstruction of passage and interior fit-out. Local municipal financing project with a help of CHF as USAID-funded for total investment about 17,000,000 RSD.

Sanitary Rooms In Eight Stories Building For The City Administrations, Leskovac, Serbia – Provided interior design and fit-out for renovation of sanitary rooms in administrative public building. Also supervised and monitoring contractors. Total renovation cost was 3,000,000 RSD.

Four Tennis Clay Courts with Grandstands, Leskovac, Serbia - Provided structural engineering and design services and supervision for construction of 4 professional tennis courts with double-faced grandstands of steel trusses for 500 seats. The Ministry of Youth And Sports in Serbian Government funded the courts complex. Total cost of the investment was 11,649,619. 27 RSD.

City's Fountain, Leskovac, Serbia - Provided structural design services and supervision for reconstruction of City’s fountain with a special hydro-isolation system. Finishing material were used are mosaic ceramics, granite stone plates, stainless steel decoration and underwater lights. Total cost about 1 mil. RSD.

Bridge across the Saranica River, Leskovac, Serbia - Provided structural engineering and design services and supervision for reconstruction of single 10 m span bridge. The main structure is reinforced concrete plate (slab) 6m wide with concrete riverbanks columns. Total cost 2,500,000 RSD.

School and Gym Roof in Grdelica, Leskovac, Serbia - Provided structural design services and supervision for reconstruction of steel trusses roof on school and gym hall. The Ministry of Youth And Sports in Serbian Government funded reconstruction with total cost of the investment 3,000,000 RSD.

Sanitary Rooms in School Gym in Grdelica, Leskovac, Serbia - Provided structural design services and supervision for reconstruction and renovation of sanitary rooms (locker, showers and toilettes). Total cost was about 3 million RSD.

Sport Complex with a Building for Following Contents, Leskovac, Serbia - Provided structural engineering and design services and supervision for construction of sport complex on 8.200 m2 with basketball and volleyball field court with a special surface, footpaths, parking places, playground for children, etc. There is also a facility building with a bar, offices, dressing rooms, showers, etc. National Investment Plan accepted design for 2011 and estimating cost is 20,000,000 RSD.

Individual Houses for Displaced Roma Families, Leskovac, Serbia – Provided structural design for a reconstruction of individual houses for permanent living and standing placed. The authority of Ministry of Labour and Social Policy Republic of Serbia coordinated whole project. The City Mayor delegated me as a professional member of project team.

Open Sports Courts and Playgrounds in Residential Area “Solidarnost”, Leskovac, Serbia - Provided structural engineering and design services and supervision for construction of sport and recreation complex with basketball and volleyball field courts with an acryl surface, footpaths, and playground for children, etc. The Ministry of Youth funded a Project and Sports Republic of Serbia with a total costs 5,149,840. 96 RSD.

Wooden Construction Hall with Annex On the “Sloga” Courts, Leskovac, Serbia – Provided site supervision for construction of hall and facility. The main girders are made of glued laminated lumber as arc with 25 m span. Annex building is masonry with offices, showers and toilettes and entrance to the hall. Investor was Ministry of Youth And Sports with total cost 16,500,000. 00 RSD.

Two Wooden Construction Hall in Vucije and Brestovac, Leskovac, Serbia – Site supervised construction in annual separated phases. The main girders are made of glued laminated lumber as arc with 18 m span. The Ministry of Youth funded a whole project and Sports Republic of Serbia with a total costs 18,000,000. 00 RSD.

The Competence Improvement Centre, Leskovac, Serbia – Provided structural engineering and design services and site supervision for reconstruction and extension of old school building into a modern construction with a congress hall, classrooms, bar, library and apartments. A whole project was funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation – SDC and the City of Leskovac with total costs 15,000,000 RSD.

Elementary School Svetozar Markovic“, Leskovac, Serbia – Provided supervision for reconstruction and overbuilding old school 4 storey masonry building with implementing a new storey with reinforced concrete frames. Investor was a School with the total investment about 25,000,000 RSD.

Elementary School Barje, Leskovac, Serbia – Provided structural engineering and architectural design services for a construction of school building. A construction project released for a school arrangement with the Ministry of National Investment Plan. Estimated cost of construction was about 9,000,000 RSD.

City Bridge near Post Office, Leskovac, Serbia – As a part of designing team, provided structural engineering and design services for reconstruction of bridge from 1936. It take a reconstruction of main girder with renewal of reinforce bars and concrete. In addition, a bridge decking has reconstructed as the other element like fencing and concrete lanterns. A whole project was funded by the Ministry of National Investment Plan with total costs 35,000,000 RSD.

Social Housing in Supportive Environment, Leskovac, Serbia – Provided supervision for construction of 4 level residential building with 20 apartments on 1,100m2. A whole construction project was financed by European Commission for the Republic of Serbia. A total cost about $410,000 USD.

Two Tennis Clay Courts PE “SRC Dubocica”, Leskovac, Serbia - Provided structural engineering and design services and supervision for construction of 2 professional tennis courts as a part of sport complex Public Enterprise “SRC Dubocica” in Leskovac. Zdravlje Actavis Company funded the construction of courts. Total cost of the investment was 4,500,000. 00 RSD.

Social Welfare Building – overbuilding four storey masonry building aged 70 years with combination of composite columns, concrete beams, steel trusses and light weight concrete masonry blocks. Renovation of façade and adapting the interior with a new functionality and with modern materials. Total cost about 25,000,000 RSD.

Bridge over the Veternica River on the City Bypass – site supervisor act as project manager for extension old bridge construction by adding another double track bridge. Total span of composite bridge is 45 m and wide 20 m, concrete slab over rounded columns and piles foundation on level -15m below river bed. Investment by European Investment Bank over Ministry of Regional Development and Local Self-Government RS and the City of Leskovac in total cost about €500,000 EUR.

Elementary School Trajko Stamenkovic“, Leskovac, G. Stopanje – Site supervisor act as project manager for construction of new school building for primary education. Reinforced concrete frame construction with masonry walls, net area 485 m2. Investment of the City of Leskovac with a total cost 21,000,000.00 RSD.

Elementary School Djura Jaksic“, Leskovac, Turekovac – Site supervisor act as project manager for reconstruction and refurbishment two old buildings into a new school building for primary education with a total area 698m2. Investment of the City of Leskovac with a total cost 24,000,000.00 RSD.

Develop architectural and structural design for PPP construction mixed use project - commercial, retail and municipality administrative building with following landscape design, covering 1,880m2, liaising with clients, stakeholders, main sponsors and the municipality representatives.

Warehouse building – structural steel truss building for retail industry, with over 1.500 m2 covering area, apex high above 12 m and clear span between columns 19.5 m. Performed complete structural and architectural design with the final result of structural steel usage less than 37 kg/ m2. Acted as an independent freelance expert.

Timber roof structural design – Elementary school “Bora Stankovic”, performed structural and architectural detailed design for the new timber roof with the spans of 10.5 m covering 408 m2 old school building areas.

Conceptual and detailed structural design of PV power plant structure with solar panelling area above 280 m2, one slope of roof, trusses-frames structure spanning 7.5 m and with the max steel columns height of 8.2 m above ground. The administrative public building “MZ Mala Kopasnica” Leskovac - Conceptual and detailed both architectural and structural design of the administrative building for the municipality’s purposes. Structural as a dual-system (reinforced concrete frames and masonry building) involving Urban Green Roof system technology.

The administrative public building “MZ Sejanica” Leskovac – rebuilding and structural strengthening and repair the masonry building according to Eurocode 8: Design of structures for earthquake resistance with the architectural interior adopting for 3 various purposes: congress hall part, administrative offices part and an ambulance part.

The Cold Storage and Food Processing Building in Petrovac - extension and overbuilding of an old masonry building with the new parts as the structural steel industrial building for freezing and processing of fruits and vegetables.
