SUMMARY
Graduated from the University of California, Merced with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Motivated to gain further knowledge in Mechanical Engineering disciplines by collaborating with colleagues to develop solutions to real world problems. Experience with Pro-E for modeling and CAD drawings. Exceptional communication skills, very well organized, and eager to learn. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Machine Operator/Production Worker (SEPTEMBER 2015 - CURRENT) Wolf Aerospace
• Operate various CNC machines to produce parts for a contracted mining company
• Operate machines, inspect parts for quality, measure tolerances, and organize and shine parts for delivery
• Measure and cut material using a bandsaw to prepare for programmers to cut specified parts using CNC machines
• Help maintain shop organization and cleanliness to prevent any safety hazards Capstone Engineering Design Project (JANUARY 2015 - MAY 2015) University of California, Merced
• Worked on a team of five members to complete a project for our sponsor, Pelco by Schneider Electric. We designed and manufactured a device that provides pan/tilt motion for fixed security camera systems
• Conceptualized initial designs, organized evaluation criteria for developing the best design, and calculated necessary mechanical specifications needed to meet requirements of Pelco
• Presented proposed solution, solution mechanics, and qualitative analysis with team members to sponsors, faculty, and fellow students
• Completed a working prototype and presented live demonstrations at the 2015 Innovative Design Clinic at UC Merced Community Services Officer - Supervisor (AUGUST 2012 – AUGUST 2015) UC Merced Department of Public Safety
• Tasked with upholding the rules and responsibilities of the CSO program by setting an example of leadership and maintaining the organization and stability of the program both on a long-term and day-to-day basis
• Directly oversaw the program and its personnel to ensure timely and efficient public safety services were provided for the campus community. This was accomplished by leading CSOs through proper training, developing consistent schedules and tasks, and evaluating the performance of the program based on statistics
• Responsible for staffing and supervising personnel for special events through careful operations planning and organization, and constant communication between police sergeants and student life departments on campus
• Suggested daily discussions or meetings between supervisors to ensure that tasks and responsibilities were being completed efficiently and on time. This has helped improve communication, organization, and overall productivity of the program
• Position demanded a high level of responsibility, honesty, integrity, trust and professionalism as we were tasked with providing safety services to the public on behalf of the University Police Department TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Programs: Pro-E (CAD), MATLAB, COMSOL, Java, MS Office
• Soldering: Basic soldering of wires to circuit boards
• Disciplines: Energy Systems, Solar Energy, Finite Element Analysis EDUCATION
