Prepare exam rooms prior to patients’ arrival. Escorts patients into the room along with required paperwork to facilitate clinic visit.
Obtains vital signs and prepares patients for physician's care. Notifies nurse of abnormal parameters.
Documents accurately in the medical record patient care entries and completed lab work.
Reviews and sorts incoming lab results and forwards reports for review. Collects and transports laboratory specimens. Instructs patients as to test preparations according to planned procedure.
