Summary of Experience

My skill sets include designing, checking and leading projects in these various disciplines. Civil including concrete slabs, foundations and drill piers. Offshore structures including fixed platforms, FPSO, SPAR, Semi-Submersibles, Risers and Sub-sea. Offshore construction including platform installations, salvages, equipment moves, cargo barge load outs, launch rigging drawings and sea fastening details. Structural including steel buildings, pipe racks, pipe supports, ladders, stairs, walkways and platforms. Furnace including ethylene cracking furnaces, fired heaters, waste heat recovery units, cast refractory and insulation drawings, radiant and convection coils, erection drawings, duct and stack drawings. Mechanical including oilfield equipment skids, truck and trailer mounted power units and hydraulic work-over units.

Project Lead – Able to incorporate the three basics of project work (Scope, Schedule & Budget) and develop a game plan of deliverables, resources required and design priorities to best fit the project.

Lead Designer, able to work with minimal supervision and transform engineering sketches into organized drawings and coordinate work for a design squad. I use my experience to solve design challenges and drawing problems in order to produce accurate deliverables.

Checker, my years of experience give me insight for overcoming common pitfalls and constructability issues related to design drawings. I use industry standards, company standards and client specifications, to ensure constructability and consistent drawing packages. I have shop and field experience to further my insight. I pay attention to detail and organization with a goal of producing quality drawings for all projects.
