Updated website by creating online forms for:
o estimates on cost of labor, equipment, necessary resources, etc. o adding content (pictures, pages, text)
o redesigning interface using HTML and Hostmonster
Maintained employee email system
Remote Desktop Support for users
Lifeguard @ Borough of Mountain Lakes
June 2010 – August 2013
Maintained and watched the lake, beach area, and its patrons
Handled customer requests and complaints
Managed lower level guards in the later years of employment Project-Based Experience
Senior Capstone: Network Errors and Compression of Ultra HD content with Verizon September 2015 – May 2016
Analyzed the network errors of 3 YUV (raw, uncompressed) videos and encoded them in 3 different standards, HEVC (h.265), MPEG-4 (h.264), and MPEG-2 (h.262) using ffmpeg via command prompt, as well as encoded them with difference bitrates and resolutions
Created a Python script to simulate network errors by accessing the video file and purposely changing some of the bits to null bits

Concluded that for Ultra HD (4k) videos, network errors were less noticeable when using HEVC. Otherwise, it is better to use MPEG-4
Android Local Laws Application using Android Studio and Java October 2015 – December 2015
Designed and created an application using Android Studio that gave the user a few important laws to know depending on the location and city/town that was input. Traffic Light Project in VHDL
April 2014
Designed and created a Modelsim Altera program on a VHDL chip that controls traffic lights for various scenarios, including a traffic light that would remain green until another switch was flipped to simulate the light sensing that a car was appoaching, as well as going through a routine Ideal-case Pipelined MIPS Processor
October 2014 – December 2014
Designed and developed each of the 5 stages of the MIPS processor (IF, ID, EX, MEM, WB) using Modelsim Altera and VHDL
Tested multiple cases to ensure full functionality of the processor Sonar Distance Project using VHDL
February 2016 – May 2016
Designed and developed an algorithm and proto-board to calculate the distance of a wall from the source for up to 20 feet using Modelsim Altera and Arduino board
Troubleshot errors when distance algorithm was not working properly Computer Network Simulation using C
February 2016 – May 2016
Created the Physical, Data Link, Network, and Transport layers of the OSI model as a simulation in C
Our simulation had to send data to another laptop after inputting the IP address of the destination in the IP header. This was done by running the transmit half on the sender laptop and the receive half on the destination laptop
Included bit-stuffing with DLE’s and checksum to ensure that each frame sent was error-free during transmission
Binary Search Tree in C++
December 2013
Designed and implemented an algorithm to locate student ID’s among an alphabetically sorted binary search tree using C++
Used different sorting algorithms such as heap sort and bubble sort to alphabetically sort the binary tree Public Relations Research Exercise
March 2016
Solicited information from students and faculty about their preferences in dining venues on campus
Interacted with consumers effectively while adapting policies and ideologies to appease consumers of Villanova’s venues
