Responsibilities

My Role in the project is to Installing, supporting, Configure, and deploy the applications on WebSphere application server V8.5.5.x, WebSphere MQ for complex projects.

Work on tickets created on Team queue, and complete them within SLA window.

Work with application teams to understand the new requirements and provide admin support for the same.

It’s the single application within IBM used by both IBM Business Partners and IBM for quoting IBM products.

Responsibilities

Lead project on migration of the application from WAS 6.0.x to WAS 7.0.

Worked on analysis, planning, Installation of WebSphere, building of code for WAS migration from V6.0 to V7.0 on Lab servers. And migrated and configured the WAS servers on Staging and Pre production servers.

Migrated the build tools like ANT, Maven, JDK,CVS to later versions to support WebSphere Application server v7.0

This is intended to replace the "spreadsheet solution estimator" and corresponding Lotus Notes database as the method for creating budgetary and planning estimates and submitting those B&P estimates for discount through Sales Transaction Hub.
